Yes indeed another season is coming and when the weather falls winter creeps and changes are coming.Well today the founder of the Cirque du Soleil is in a journey out in space to the International Space Station aboard the Russian Soyuz spacecraft for 12 days. His mission is dedicated to making an impact on how water, our most precious resource, is protected and shared. Our Music
The firsts seeds of this music came mainly from the Funk (Allaint Toussaint, Earl Palmer, Funkadelic), the Jazz (Freddie Hubbard, Herbie Hancock, Weather Report), the Latin (Hector Lavoe, Los Jaivas) and the Afro (Fela Kuti, Lafayette Afro Rock Band). In order to create the same musical warmth as this era, Metazon is a live band, a fusion of musicians who have all these styles flowing out of them.
The Band
The Band consists of “el Cotola” and “Beyondah”, two-experienced mc's, masters of ceremony, engaged socially and consciously to improve their community. They manipulate words, metaphors and avant-garde «flows» and highlight a South American and Caribbean heritage. Marco is at the Bass, upon which his biggest influences are funk fusion styles. He is a young prodigy that represented Canada at an International Festival in France. There is also Naman, in command with vintage organs and electric pianos that harkens back to the golden era of Jazz. And finally, you have Claude, who comes from the Gospel and Soul universe, who brings forth a syncopated drumming style that we find in the Funk and Latin percussion world. Finally, DJ Vinhill, master on the turntables, is known for his experimental style and digital artistry.
